What is the County Clerk requirement?
No separate county clerk step: the Lieutenant Governor's Office authenticates documents properly notarized by a Utah notary and original public documents certified by Utah agencies.
Can I walk in?
No. The Lieutenant Governor's Office does not accept walk-ins; in-person service is by appointment only, and documents are usually ready within 10 minutes to 2 hours of the appointment.
