A Unique Georgia Rule: GSCCCA vs. SOS
Don't Mail to the Wrong Office!
In Georgia, Apostilles (for Hague countries like France, Mexico, UK) are issued by the GSCCCA (Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority).
Only "Great Seal Certifications" (for non-Hague countries like China, UAE) go to the Secretary of State.
95% of requests go to the GSCCCA. If you send an apostille request to the Secretary of State, it may be returned.
Fill Out the GSCCCA Request Form
Step 1 — Contact Info
Provide your name, address, and phone number. This is for return shipping.
Step 2 — Country of Destination
You MUST list the country where the document is going. This tells the GSCCCA whether to issue an Apostille or a Certification.
Step 3 — Fee Calculation
The fee is simple:
Payable to: "GSCCCA" or "Clerks' Authority".
